LORD, I confess that I have been living this life solely for myself. I have been chasing my own dreams and desires instead of chasing Yours. I have been satisfying my own pleasures instead of satisfying Yours.
Father I know it’s time to submit to Your will. I ask for Your amazing grace to help me completely surrender my all to You. Take my heart and replace all my desires with Yours. Let me only long for things that are from You and not the things for my own benefit. Teach me to accept Your will wholeheartedly and give me the strength to obey them.
I lift up all my plans, my hopes and my desires. Do what is good in Your sight. I only ask for my heart to have the desire to obey You unconditionally and love You more than the things this world defines as valuable and priceless, for all these things are worth nothing in Your eyes.
My desire LORD is to put You first above all else, sustain me with Your grace daily to triumph over my worldly desires. Help me to completely deny myself and carry the cross that You have set for me to carry and to follow You wherever Your will takes me. I want to live this life as a bond slave, a slave not of my selfish desire, but a slave for You my God.
